Job Description:
Roers Companies, a leader in multifamily residential
developments in the Upper Midwest, is seeking a dynamic Assistant
Property Manager to support our property management team. The ideal
candidate will assist in overseeing our residential properties,
ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction, and maintaining
optimal occupancy rates. This role is pivotal in facilitating the
smooth operation and financial success of our properties. Assist in
managing day-to-day operations of the property including tenant
relations, maintenance and repair, security, janitorial services,
landscaping, snow removal, etc. Support the Property Manager in
reviewing applications, screening tenants, and conducting property
tours. Help manage financial aspects of the property, including
collecting rents, handling late payments, and managing budget
constraints. Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to
ensure that all units and common areas are in excellent condition.
Respond to tenant complaints and work to resolve conflicts in a
timely and professional manner. Assist in preparing reports on
property performance, including occupancy reports and financial
analysis. Stay updated on industry legal requirements and trends,
especially related to residential leases and tenant rights. Strong
understanding of property management principles and residential
tenancy laws. Proficiency in property management software (e.g.,
Yardi, MRI, etc.). Excellent organizational and time management
skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to
handle and resolve conflicts efficiently. Financial literacy for
budgeting and financial reporting. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in
property management preferred (e.g., Certified Apartment Manager
(CAM), Residential Property Manager (RPM)).
