Position Details: Provider Title: MD Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Start Date: ASAP End Date: 06-07-2024 Allowed Holidays: Labor Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon), Thanksgiving Day Providers Requested: 1 EMR System: Cerner Facility Accepts Multiple Providers?: No Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Is Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required?: Yes Provider Requires Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges?: Yes Admissions Required?: No Are Temporary Privileges Available?: Yes Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: No Patients Per Shift: 15 Bed In Department: NA Rounding: Both Practice Details: Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours Call Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Additional Details: Join our team for one month of coverage from 5/13 to 6/7/24, with clinic hours and a 1:3 call schedule. Enjoy a Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule, working alongside 2 MDs and 3 NPs (2 NPs are in their 1st year of practice). Our location offers radiation oncology services, making it a comprehensive center for cancer care. Our department primarily sees hematology/oncology patients, and bone marrow biopsies can be completed right in the Cancer Center. Providers will consult both ambulatory and hospital patients. The Cancer Center features 18 chemo infusion chairs and 2 non-chemo infusion chairs, ensuring comprehensive treatment options for our patients. Bone marrow biopsies are required as part of the practice.
