Job Description:

Mayo Clinic, a leading nonprofit medical practice and research group known for its expert, whole-person care, is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee operations within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management and coordination of healthcare services, enhancing patient care, and integrating departmental activities with the Clinic’s mission of clinical practice, education, and research. Oversee daily operations and manage staff within the department to ensure effective patient care and compliance with legal and health regulations. Develop and implement departmental policies and objectives aligned with organizational goals. Manage budgeting and resource allocation efforts to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated approaches to patient care, research, and education. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to foster innovation in processes and technologies within the department. Ensure staff compliance with health and safety policies, and manage staff development and training. Evaluate and analyze departmental performance, devising plans for improvement based on outcomes and patient feedback. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management systems and technologies In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards Ability to manage budgets, financial forecasts, and resources Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in Healthcare Management (e.g., FACHE - Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives)
