This role involves operating MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) equipment, assisting radiologists, and providing compassionate patient care. The MRI Technologist is pivotal in diagnostic procedures, helping to capture clear and accurate images that lead to high-quality patient outcomes. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety. Select proper imaging techniques and position patients to produce the best diagnostic images. Assist radiologists during the imaging process. Maintain all records of exams following department protocols. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient care. Proficiency in using MRI technology Strong communication skills Attention to detail Ability to follow strict safety and privacy protocols Collaborative teamwork abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Additional certification in MRI technology is preferred
