MRI Technologist- Evenings- Eagan, MN

-Schedule/Shifts: Temporary Full-Time assignment, M-F 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

Location: Clinic setting in Eagan, MN.

Pay rate: -Up to $75, depending on experience!

  • Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination.
  • Prepares patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure, and positioning patient's body parts appropriately.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body used by physicians to diagnose and treat a patient's illness/injury with minimal supervision while providing patient support throughout the procedure. Adjust MRI scan parameters and dose reduction techniques as needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiology team, follow physician instructions precisely, and accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain a clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers, and maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect after each use.
  • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements, and ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades, and monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned. -What we require of you:
    • ARRT certification, current and in good standing.
    • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
    • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
    • Experience and comfort utilizing MRI equipment/techniques, experience with Siemens or Hitachi scanners preferred.
    • MRI certification is preferred.
