Volt is immediately hiring for a Sourcing Associate in Maplewood, Minnesota 55144Duration: 3 months

This is a first shift, full time, on-site opportunity. Potential range of pay is 28.53 to 32.70 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

As a Sourcing Associate, you will be responsible for:
Receiving and reading customer orders, verifying stock availability, and pulling specified items to fill the orders.
Preparing assembled orders for shipment: addressing, stamping, and arranging for the transportation of packages.
Unpacking incoming shipments and stocking shelves in several stockrooms.
Performs inventory counts and monitors item availability.
Entering product information into a computer database.
Verifying, keeping records on, and loading/unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.


Qualifications:
Can fulfill job responsibilities independently with moderate direction, and can identify issues/problems that may need assistance in resolving.
Strong work attitude & ability to work with a team.
Experience in a customer service role - any kind.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Experience entering transactions (e.g., customer orders, purchase orders, billing)
Some data analysis experience (including Excel spreadsheets)
Ability to learn complex process steps, and follow documentation to implement process steps.
Good data entry skills and computer proficiency preferred.
High school diploma/GED
