Job Description:

Client is seeking an IT Business Liaison to work on the Client Compliance System project for 4 months to document specifications, requirements, and business rules. The position will research solution options and prepare a comparison of options and a project proposal with cost estimates. System has been in service for nearly 20 years, and to date has been cost effective and reliable. However, its technology is increasingly diverging from directions in which the state is moving (such as cloud-based operations).

Candidate must be a self-starter and self-directed, able to work individually and from the technical solution to create documentation that can be used to scope out a purchase proposal. They should have good technical writing skills, be able to create specifications from an existing system, know how to write a request for proposal, and do market research on software solutions. The ability to create and run customer satisfaction surveys also needed. Candidate should be able to review the technical and business needs with the market landscape to propose solutions. Knowledge of online licensing systems would be preferred. Data modeling, wireframes, and tech spec experience a must. A typical day for this candidate is solo work, researching and documenting the system, building out system specification documents, doing market and user research. Candidate would have weekly or bi-weekly consultations with vendor and subject matter experts, culminating in presentations and reviews with the business and IT stakeholders.

Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $70- $77
